Where the name comes from
Roca Redonda is the visible crown of a mostly submarine shield volcano rising nearly three kilometers from the surrounding seafloor. Its exposed lava and tuff record a young volcanic system whose greatest structure remains hidden beneath the Pacific.
Roca Redonda is the inspiration behind this department. It is not offered here as a bookable dive site.
